Culture diversity

In high college of technology in 2013 I have in my course culture diversity , and we study about our culture and many other cultures in my class there is about 20 student and our teacher is grogary and he is a good teacher and one of my favorites.

First of all there is many things that I enjoyed in the class and the best thing in the class is my friend because the always help me if I in trobel or if I have a problem with something they help me in it . after that is the topics my best topic in my opinion is the video , because we have a lot of fun wile we do it because we have a lot of mistakes and it was our first time that we film a video and we film it by the laptop camera .next we learn how important to learn about culture diversity , its very important in this time and its have to be in specific age and in my opinion it have to be in between 15 and 21 because it’s the time for the teenager to hang out with his friends and he have to know about other cultures to not fall in trouble with other people and don’t have to be from other countries .finally the most intresting thing that I learned in this course in the deferent between the garden salad and the milting boot because in knew the deferent between the our country and other country like united staid of America , for example America is a milting boot and emirates is a garden salad   .

All and all , we have fun in this semester and we have a bad time but mostly a good time and I hope my friend and my teacher have a good time too .

Culture and Personality in Anthropology

Read the section about Culture and Personality in Anthropology. Answer these questions about that section:-

1.       Define “Anthropology” in your own words

The anthropology is to study human beings

2.       What do you understand by “socialization of children” Give an example

What I understand is when the children grow up they contact to help each other in the real life for example when the class is mixed with many nationality the help each other to pass.

3.       Read this sentence again and give examples of childrearing in different societies and cultures: “socialization creates personality patterns. It helps shape people’s emotions, thoughts, behaviors, cultural values and norms to fit into and function as productive members in the surrounding human society. The study of culture and personality demonstrates that different socialization practices such as childrearing in different societies (cultures) result in different personality types.”

A great example when the people of other countries learn from our culture and in the same time we learn fro them

4.       Read this sentence again and say to what extent

you agree: “all humans are the same when born, but childrearing in different societies causes deviations in behavior and personalities from each other.”

I defiantly agree with this sentence because the children when he born he know nothing but he learn from his family and his friends and other people.

5.       Reflect on the reading above. Can you see a link between your culture and your personality? Think about that in relation to your own culture first, and then think about personality and culture in a different society. Reflect. Give examples.

There is a link between my culture and my personality for example when you want to know if this is right or wrong you ask yourself first and thin you you see if its right for your culture.
